what is hungry talks?

Hungry Talks is a student run advertising talk show series for hungry minds. Industry professionals from all corners of the ad world are invited to share their insider knowledge as we aim to forge a connection between the industry and students. Our Gruen-inspired program releases a new episode each week and gives new copy writers, art directors and strategists an insight into what the future holds.

Loula’s kitchen:

Over the course of the Hungry Talks season my interpersonal skills, humour and passion were tapped into in a few ways one of which being my own segment called ‘Loula’s Kitchen’ where I interviewed my father whilst whipping up a storm for my cooking show. This unscripted interview was produced, edited and directed by myself. (Trailer below)

YouTube description:
”In this cooking interview, Hungry Talks social media manager Louisa (Loula) Reinke interviews her father Scott who has an advertising and marketing career of over 40 years. He talks about his businesses, one being his 21-year standing promotional merchandise business ‘Intandem’ and shares advice for students looking to get into the advertising and marketing industry. As the two attempt to cook an apple crumble, funny, insightful, and endearing moments are shared between the father/ daughter duo.”
